MP backs biodiesel tax break campaign

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a campaign to keep tax breaks for companies who produce biodiesel.
Producers oil into biodiesel currently take advantage of a 20p differential however that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been satisfying with the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George said "a number of little services in Cornwall currently earn money from utilized cooking oil".
He added: "In order to have the ability to get this sort of market going it does need simply a bit of lift which is available in the form of tax foregone."
Biodiesel is a blend of conventional diesel, rapeseed and vegetable oils.
